[282] A bhikkhu who, with a bowl having fewer than five mends (ūnapañcabandhana), gets another new bowl procured in exchange, incurs two offenses (āpatti): while he is getting it procured, in the act there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when it has been procured, an offense entailing forfeiture with expiation (nissaggiya pācittiya).
