[284] Searching for a rains-bathing cloth robe (vassikasāṭikā-cīvara) when more than one month of the hot season remains, a bhikkhu commits two offences (āpatti): in searching, there is an offence of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa) in the act of effort; when the search has been completed, there is an offence entailing relinquishment with confession (nissaggiya pācittiya).
