[302] Evading one question with another (aññenaññaṃ paṭicaranto), a bhikkhu commits two offences (āpatti): when the charge of evasive speech (aññavādaka) has not been imposed, he evades one question with another — an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when the charge of evasive speech has been imposed, he evades one question with another — an offence entailing expiation (pācittiya).
