[383] When a **bhikkhu**, having received with his own hand hard food (khādanīya) or soft food (bhojanīya) from the hand of an unrelated bhikkhunī who has entered among the houses, eats it — how many offenses (āpatti) does he commit?
When a bhikkhu, having received with his own hand hard food or soft food from the hand of an unrelated bhikkhunī who has entered among the houses, eats it, he commits two offenses: he receives it thinking "I shall eat it" — an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); for every mouthful swallowed — an offense to be acknowledged (pāṭidesanīya).
When a bhikkhu, having received with his own hand hard food or soft food from the hand of an unrelated bhikkhunī who has entered among the houses, eats it, he commits these two offenses.
