[58] "Where was the offense entailing relinquishment with expiation (nissaggiya pācittiya) laid down for one who, knowing that a gain has been allocated to the Saṅgha, diverts it to himself?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the group-of-six bhikkhus." — "On account of what matter?" — "On the matter of the group-of-six bhikkhus, knowing, diverting to themselves a gain that had been allocated to the Saṅgha." There is one rule-formulation (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through three origins. … The third chapter, the Bowl Chapter (Pattavagga), is finished.
