[670] Exchanging something else by means of a requisite intended for another purpose, designated for another purpose, belonging to a great multitude of people, she (a bhikkhunī) commits two offenses (āpatti): in the act of effecting the exchange, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when the exchange has been effected, there is an offense entailing relinquishment with confession (nissaggiya pācittiya).
