[677] A bhikkhunī engaging in slapping with the palm (talaghātaka) commits two offenses (āpatti): while she is doing it, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) in the course of the effort; when it is done, an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
