[689] A bhikkhunī who, having approached families before the meal, and having sat down on a seat, departs without taking leave of the owners, commits two offenses (āpatti): when she moves the first foot beyond the sheltered area [beyond the eaves], she commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when she moves the second foot, she commits an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
