[954] There is an offense (āpatti) that one commits while the Blessed One is living, not after he has attained final Nibbāna;
there is an offense that one commits after the Blessed One has attained final Nibbāna, not while he is living;
there is an offense that one commits both while the Blessed One is living and after he has attained final Nibbāna.
There is an offense that one commits at the right time (kāla), not at the wrong time (vikāla);
there is an offense that one commits at the wrong time, not at the right time;
there is an offense that one commits both at the right time and at the wrong time.
There is an offense that one commits by night, not by day;
there is an offense that one commits by day, not by night;
there is an offense that one commits both by night and by day.
There is an offense that one of ten years' standing commits, not one of less than ten years' standing;
there is an offense that one of less than ten years' standing commits, not one of ten years' standing;
there is an offense that both one of ten years' standing and one of less than ten years' standing commit.
There is an offense that one of five years' standing commits, not one of less than five years' standing;
there is an offense that one of less than five years' standing commits, not one of five years' standing;
there is an offense that both one of five years' standing and one of less than five years' standing commit.
There is an offense that one commits with a wholesome mind (kusalacitta), not with an unwholesome mind;
there is an offense that one commits with an unwholesome mind, not with a wholesome mind;
there is an offense that one commits with an indeterminate mind (abyākatacitta).
There is an offense that one commits while possessed of pleasant feeling (vedanā);
there is an offense that one commits while possessed of painful feeling;
there is an offense that one commits while possessed of neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling.
