[124] "And how, great king, is a bhikkhu content (santuṭṭho)? Here, great king, a bhikkhu is content with a robe (cīvara) to maintain the body and with almsfood (piṇḍapāta) to maintain the belly; wherever he departs, he departs taking only these along. Just as, great king, a winged bird, wherever it flies, flies with its wings as its only burden, so too, great king, a bhikkhu is content with a robe to maintain the body and with almsfood to maintain the belly; wherever he departs, he departs taking only these along. Thus, great king, a bhikkhu is content."
