[103] **Goods situated in a village (gāmaṭṭha)**: goods deposited in a village in four locations — situated in the ground (bhummaṭṭha), situated on the ground surface (thalaṭṭha), situated in the air (ākāsaṭṭha), or situated aloft (vehāsaṭṭha).
Thinking, "I shall steal goods situated in the village," a bhikkhu with the intent to steal (theyyacitta) either seeks a companion or goes there: an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). He touches it: an offense of wrong-doing. He makes it stir: a grave offense (thullaccaya). He moves it from its place: an offense entailing defeat (pārājika).
