[113] "Two-footed" means: human beings and winged creatures (pakkhajātā). With a mind of theft, he touches it: an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). He makes it stir: an offense of grave transgression (thullaccaya). He moves it from its place: an offense entailing defeat (pārājika). Thinking, "I shall lead it away on foot," he makes it shift the first foot: an offense of grave transgression. He makes it shift the second foot: an offense entailing defeat.
