[112] "Footless creature" (apada) means: snakes and fish. If, with the intention to steal (theyyacitta), he touches one worth five māsakas or more than five māsakas, there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). If he makes it move, there is a grave offense (thullaccaya). If he moves it from its place, there is an offense entailing defeat (pārājika).
