[192] A bhikkhu commands a bhikkhu, saying, "Deprive the person named so-and-so of life" — an offense (āpatti) of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). Having commanded him, he becomes remorseful, but does not make himself heard, saying, "Do not kill." That bhikkhu deprives that person of life — an offense of pārājika for both.

Having commanded him, he becomes remorseful and makes himself heard, saying, "Do not kill." The one who was commanded, thinking, "I have been commanded by you," deprives that person of life — no offense for the originator (mūlaṭṭha); an offense of pārājika for the killer.
