[201] **Describing (ācikkhanā)** means: being asked, he says, "Die thus; whoever dies thus obtains wealth, or obtains fame, or goes to heaven" — this is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). If, on account of that describing, the person, thinking "I shall die," produces a painful feeling (vedanā), it is a grave offense (thullaccaya). If he dies, it is an offense entailing defeat (pārājika).
**Instructing (anusāsanī)** means: without being asked, he says, "Die thus; whoever dies thus obtains wealth, or obtains fame, or goes to heaven" — this is an offense of wrong-doing.
