[362] Now at that time, as a certain bhikkhu, intending emission (mocanādhippāya), was shaking his hips in the air, semen was emitted … [the Pali elides: in the parallel case] semen was not emitted. He was anxious with scruples … [The Blessed One's rulings, compressed by the elision, are two: where semen was emitted, the offense follows accordingly; where it was not emitted:] "There is no offense entailing saṅghādisesa; there is an offense of thullaccaya."
