[395] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu, lustful, shook a tree that a woman had climbed. He became remorseful … [The peyyāla (pe) elides the standard refrain: he became remorseful, thinking, "Have I not committed an offense entailing saṅghādisesa?" and reported the matter to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said:] "Bhikkhu, there is no offense entailing saṅghādisesa (saṅghādisesa); there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
