[400] "Whatever" means: whoever, of whatever sort … [1] "Bhikkhu" means … [1] — this is the bhikkhu intended in this sense as "bhikkhu."
"Overcome (otiṇṇo)" means: impassioned, filled with longing, with a mind bound (in attachment).
"Perverted (vipariṇataṃ)": a lustful mind (citta) is perverted; a hateful mind is also perverted; a deluded mind is also perverted. However, it is a lustful mind that is intended in this sense as "perverted."
"Woman (mātugāmo)" means: a human female, not a female yakkha, not a female peta, not a female animal — one who is intelligent, competent to understand what is well spoken and badly spoken, what is lewd and what is not lewd.
