[561] An individual is impure: he has committed one or another pārājika offense. If, viewing him as pure, one speaks to him with the intention of making him fall away (from the monk's life), without having had leave (okāsa) granted, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) together with the saṅghādisesa. An individual is impure: he has committed one or another pārājika offense. If, viewing him as pure, one speaks to him with the intention of making him fall away, having had leave granted, there is an offense of saṅghādisesa. An individual is impure: he has committed one or another pārājika offense. If, viewing him as pure, one speaks to him with the intention of abusing him, without having had leave granted, there is an offense of wrong-doing together with (the offense of) insulting speech (omasavāda). An individual is impure: he has committed one or another pārājika offense. If, viewing him as pure, one speaks to him with the intention of abusing him, having had leave granted, there is an offense of insulting speech.
