[567] "Whoever (yo pana)" means: whoever, of whatever sort … "bhikkhu" means: … this is the one intended in this sense as "bhikkhu." "A bhikkhu" means: another bhikkhu. "Malicious, out of hatred (duṭṭho doso)" means: angry, displeased, dissatisfied, with a stricken mind (citta), become hard-hearted. "Discontented (appatīto)" means: through that anger, through that hatred (dosa), through that displeasure, and through that dissatisfaction, he is discontented.
