[608] There is no offense (anāpatti): for those who have not been formally admonished (asamanubhāsantānaṃ); for those who relinquish (paṭinissajjantānaṃ); for those who are insane; for those whose minds are deranged; for those overwhelmed by pain; and for the first offenders (ādikammika).
