[71] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu of Bhārukaccha, having engaged in sexual intercourse with his former wife in a dream, thought, "I am no ascetic; I shall disrobe," and while traveling to Bhārukaccha he saw the Venerable Upāli on the road and informed him of this matter. The Venerable Upāli spoke thus: "There is no offence (āpatti), friend, on account of a dream."
