[92] "Goods situated on the ground" (thalaṭṭhaṃ) means goods that have been deposited on the ground.
If a bhikkhu with a mind bent on theft (theyyacitta), thinking, "I shall steal the goods situated on the ground," either seeks a companion or goes there himself, he commits an offence (āpatti) of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). If he touches it, he commits an offence of wrong-doing. If he makes it stir, he commits an offence of grave transgression (thullaccaya). If he moves it from its place, he commits an offence entailing defeat (pārājika).
