[110] Virtue (sīla), concentration (samādhi), wisdom (paññā), and liberation (vimutti) unsurpassed— these dhammas were awakened to by Gotama the illustrious. Thus the Buddha, having directly known them, declared the Dhamma to the bhikkhus; the Teacher, the maker of an end of suffering (dukkha), the One with Vision, has attained final Nibbāna (parinibbuta).
