[171] "Ānanda, King Mahāsudassana was endowed with four successes (iddhi). With what four successes? "Here, Ānanda, King Mahāsudassana was handsome, good to look upon, inspiring confidence, endowed with supreme beauty of complexion, exceedingly so beyond other human beings. Ānanda, King Mahāsudassana was endowed with this first success."
