[46] When this was said, bhikkhus, the Blessed One Vipassī, the Arahant (arahaṃ), the Perfectly Awakened One (sammāsambuddho), addressed that Mahābrahmā in verse: Open for them are the doors of the Deathless (amata) — let those who have ears release their faith (saddhā). Perceiving it as vexation, I did not speak, O Brahmā, the sublime Dhamma of which I am master, among humankind.
