[112] Cunda, if yet another fellow in the holy life (sabrahmacārī) should speak the Dhamma in the Saṅgha, and if it should occur to you thus: "This venerable one grasps the meaning (attha) rightly and frames the phrasing (byañjana) rightly," then, saying "Good!", his utterance should be delighted in and rejoiced in. Having delighted in and rejoiced in his utterance, saying "Good!", he should be addressed thus: "It is a gain for us, friend; it is well gained by us, friend, that we shall remember a venerable one such as you, a fellow in the holy life, thus endowed with the meaning and endowed with the phrasing."
