[129] Now on that occasion the Venerable Upadāna was standing behind the Blessed One, fanning the Blessed One. Then the Venerable Upadāna said this to the Blessed One: "It is wonderful, venerable sir! It is marvellous, venerable sir! Truly inspiring, venerable sir, is this exposition of the Dhamma (dhammapariyāya); truly most inspiring, venerable sir, is this exposition of the Dhamma. What, venerable sir, is the name of this exposition of the Dhamma?"
"Then, Upadāna, you may remember this exposition of the Dhamma simply as 'the Inspiring' (Pāsādika)."
Thus spoke the Blessed One. Gladdened, the Venerable Upadāna delighted in the words of the Blessed One.
The Pāsādika Sutta, the sixth, is finished.
