[176] "And on what four grounds does one not do bad deeds? Going astray out of desire (chandāgati), one does bad deeds; going astray out of hatred (dosāgati), one does bad deeds; going astray out of delusion (mohāgati), one does bad deeds; going astray out of fear (bhayāgati), one does bad deeds. But, householder's son, since a noble disciple goes astray neither out of desire, nor out of hatred, nor out of delusion, nor out of fear, he does not do bad deeds on these four grounds."
This is what the Blessed One said. Having said this, the Sugata, the Teacher, further said this:
