[177] Whoever transgresses the Dhamma through desire (chanda), hatred, fear, or delusion, his fame wanes, like the moon in the dark fortnight. Whoever does not transgress the Dhamma through desire, hatred, fear, or delusion, his fame waxes full, like the moon in the bright fortnight.
