[303] Five perceptions that ripen in liberation (vimutti): the perception of impermanence (aniccasaññā), the perception of suffering (dukkha) in what is impermanent, the perception of non-self in what is suffering, the perception of abandoning (pahānasaññā), and the perception of dispassion (virāgasaññā).
These, friends, are the five dhammas rightly proclaimed by that Blessed One who knows and sees, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One. Therein all should recite in concert … for the benefit, the welfare, and the happiness of devas and human beings.
