Suttapiṭaka · Dīghanikāya · Pāthikavagga · Vol. 11 · Section 394

[394] What three things lead to distinction (visesabhāgiyā)? Three roots of the skillful (kusalamūla): non-greed (alobha) is a root of the skillful; non-hatred (adosa) is a root of the skillful; non-delusion (amoha) is a root of the skillful. These three things lead to distinction.
