[409] What four things should be realized (sacchikātabbā)? The four fruits of the ascetic life (sāmaññaphalāni): the fruit of stream-entry (sotāpattiphalaṃ), the fruit of once-returning (sakadāgāmiphalaṃ), the fruit of non-returning (anāgāmiphalaṃ), and the fruit of arahantship (arahattaphalaṃ). These four things should be realized.
Thus these forty things — true, actual, so, not unreal, not otherwise — have been rightly and fully awakened to by the Tathāgata.
