[438] What seven things partake of distinction (visesabhāgiyā)? Seven true qualities (saddhamma). Here, friends, a bhikkhu has faith (saddhā), has moral shame (hiri), has moral dread (ottappa), is greatly learned (bahussuta), has aroused energy (āraddhavīriya), has established mindfulness (upaṭṭhitassati), and is wise (paññavā). These seven things partake of distinction.
