[471] What ten dhammas lead to distinction (visesabhāgiyā)? The ten courses of wholesome action (kusalakammapathā), namely: abstinence (veramaṇī) from killing living beings, abstinence from taking what is not given, abstinence from misconduct in sensual pleasures, abstinence from false speech, abstinence from divisive speech, abstinence from harsh speech, abstinence from idle chatter, non-covetousness, non-ill will (byāpāda), and right view. These ten dhammas lead to distinction.
