[80] And moreover, venerable sir, this is unsurpassed: the way in which the Blessed One teaches the Dhamma with regard to the designation of individuals (puggalapaṇṇatti). Venerable sir, there are these seven individuals: one liberated in both ways (ubhatobhāgavimutta), one liberated by wisdom (paññāvimutta), a body-witness (kāyasakkhi), one attained to view (diṭṭhippatta), one liberated through faith (saddhāvimutta), a Dhamma-follower (dhammānusārī), and a faith-follower (saddhānusārī). This, venerable sir, is unsurpassed with regard to the designation of individuals.
