[550] Bhikkhus, when a noble disciple (ariyasāvaka) is thus endowed with seven factors, his nature (dhammatā) has been well investigated with a view to the realization of the fruit of stream-entry (sotāpattiphala). Bhikkhus, a noble disciple endowed with these seven factors is one endowed with the fruit of stream-entry. Thus spoke the Blessed One. Delighted, those bhikkhus rejoiced in the Blessed One's words.
