[549] Bhikkhus, furthermore, a noble disciple reflects thus: 'The kind of strength with which an individual accomplished in view is endowed — am I too endowed with that kind of strength?' And with what kind of strength, bhikkhus, is an individual accomplished in view endowed? This, bhikkhus, is the strength of an individual accomplished in view: when the Dhamma and Discipline proclaimed by the Tathāgata is being taught, he gains inspiration in the meaning, gains inspiration in the Dhamma, gains gladness connected with the Dhamma. He understands thus: 'The kind of strength with which an individual accomplished in view is endowed — I too am endowed with that kind of strength.' This is the seventh knowledge (ñāṇa) attained by him, noble, supramundane, not shared with ordinary people.
