[61] It is possible, friend, that this wish might arise in some bhikkhu here: "Oh, that the bhikkhus might enter the village for the meal putting me alone at the very front, and not enter the village for the meal putting some other bhikkhu at the front!" But it is possible, friend, that the bhikkhus might enter the village for the meal putting some other bhikkhu at the front, and not enter the village for the meal putting that bhikkhu at the front. Thinking, "The bhikkhus enter the village for the meal putting some other bhikkhu at the front; they do not enter the village for the meal putting me at the front," he becomes angry and displeased. Both that anger, friend, and that displeasure are a blemish (aṅgaṇa).
