Ākaṅkheyyasutta

[86] Bhikkhus, if a bhikkhu should wish: 'May I, with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu), purified and surpassing the human, hear both kinds of sounds, the divine and the human, those that are far as well as near,' then let him be one who fulfills the virtues (sīla) … a cultivator of empty dwellings.
