[133] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. Then, in the morning, the Blessed One dressed and, taking his bowl and robe, entered Sāvatthī for alms. The venerable Rāhula also, in the morning, dressed and, taking his bowl and robe, followed close behind the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, looking back, addressed the venerable Rāhula: "Rāhula, whatever form (rūpa) there is — past, future, or present; internal or external; gross or subtle; inferior or superior; whether far or near — all form should be seen with right wisdom as it really is thus: 'This is not mine, this I am not, this is not my self.'"
"Only form, Blessed One? Only form, Sublime One?"
"Form, Rāhula; feeling (vedanā) too, Rāhula; perception too, Rāhula; volitional formations too, Rāhula; consciousness too, Rāhula."
