Mahārāhulovādasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 13 · Section 143

[143] "Rāhula, develop meditation (bhāvanā) that is like the wind; for, Rāhula, when you develop meditation that is like the wind, agreeable and disagreeable contacts (phassa) that have arisen will not persist overpowering your mind (citta). Just as, Rāhula, the wind blows upon the clean and blows upon the unclean, blows upon feces, blows upon urine, blows upon spittle, blows upon pus, and blows upon blood, and the wind is not horrified, repelled, or disgusted by that — even so, Rāhula, develop meditation that is like the wind; for, Rāhula, when you develop meditation that is like the wind, agreeable and disagreeable contacts that have arisen will not persist overpowering your mind."
