[200] Here, Anuruddhas, a bhikkhunī hears: "The bhikkhunī named so-and-so has died; she has been declared by the Blessed One to have been established in final knowledge (aññā)." And she has either seen for herself, or heard by report, of that sister: "That sister was of such virtue," "That sister was of such qualities," "That sister was of such wisdom," "That sister was of such a way of dwelling," "That sister was liberated in such a way." Recollecting that sister's faith, virtue, learning, generosity, and wisdom, she directs her mind (citta) to that same state. Thus too, Anuruddhas, a bhikkhunī has a comfortable abiding.
Here, Anuruddhas, a bhikkhunī hears: "The bhikkhunī named so-and-so has died; she has been declared by the Blessed One to be, with the destruction of the five lower fetters, one of spontaneous rebirth, due to attain final Nibbāna there, not subject to returning from that world." And she has either seen for herself, or heard by report, of that sister: "That sister was of such virtue," "That sister was of such qualities," "That sister was of such wisdom," "That sister was of such a way of dwelling," "That sister was liberated in such a way." Recollecting that sister's faith, virtue, learning, generosity, and wisdom, she directs her mind to that same state. Thus too, Anuruddhas, a bhikkhunī has a comfortable abiding.

Recollecting that sister's faith, virtue, learning, generosity, and wisdom, she directs her mind to that same state. Thus too, Anuruddhas, a bhikkhunī has a comfortable abiding.
