[323] "Furthermore, venerable sir, the Blessed One is secluded and speaks in praise of seclusion. Since, venerable sir, the Blessed One is secluded and speaks in praise of seclusion — this, venerable sir, is the fifth quality (dhamma) I see in the Blessed One, because of which the disciples honor, respect, esteem, and venerate the Blessed One, and, having honored and respected him, dwell in dependence on him.
"These, venerable sir, are the five qualities I see in the Blessed One, because of which the disciples honor, respect, esteem, and venerate the Blessed One, and, having honored and respected him, dwell in dependence on him."
