[333] "Again, Udāyī, I have declared to my disciples the way of practice (paṭipadā), practicing in accordance with which my disciples develop the four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna). Here, Udāyī, a bhikkhu dwells contemplating the body in the body, ardent, clearly comprehending, mindful, having removed covetousness and grief regarding the world; he dwells contemplating feelings (vedanā) in feelings … ; he dwells contemplating the mind (citta) in the mind … ; he dwells contemplating dhammas in dhammas, ardent, clearly comprehending, mindful, having removed covetousness and grief regarding the world. And therein many of my disciples dwell, having attained the consummation and perfection of direct knowledge (abhiññā)."
