[122] "Venerable sir, could there be disparity (vemattatā) of desire and lust (chandarāga) with regard to the five aggregates subject to clinging (pañcupādānakkhandhā)?"
"There could be, bhikkhu," the Blessed One said. "Here, bhikkhu, it occurs to someone thus: 'May I be of such form (rūpa) in the future! May I be of such feeling (vedanā) in the future! May I be of such perception (saññā) in the future! May I have such volitional formations (saṅkhārā) in the future! May I be of such consciousness (viññāṇa) in the future!' Thus, bhikkhu, there could be disparity of desire and lust with regard to the five aggregates subject to clinging."
