"Bhikkhu, whatever form (rūpa) there is — past, future, or present; internal or external; gross or subtle; inferior or superior; far or near — this is the form aggregate. Whatever feeling (vedanā) there is … whatever perception (saññā) there is … whatever volitional formations (saṅkhārā) there are … whatever consciousness (viññāṇa) there is — past, future, or present; internal or external; gross or subtle; inferior or superior; far or near — this is the consciousness aggregate. To this extent, bhikkhu, the designation 'aggregates' applies to the aggregates."
