[174] Endowed with this noble restraint of the faculties (indriyasaṃvara), I experienced within myself an unsullied happiness. I acted with clear comprehension (sampajañña) when going forward and returning; I acted clearly comprehending when looking ahead and looking away; I acted clearly comprehending when bending and extending the limbs; I acted clearly comprehending when wearing the outer robe, bowl, and robes; I acted clearly comprehending when eating, drinking, chewing, and tasting; I acted clearly comprehending when defecating and urinating; I acted clearly comprehending when walking, standing, sitting, sleeping, waking, speaking, and keeping silent.
