[197] Bhikkhus, furthermore, a true person (sappurisa), having completely transcended the base of neither-perception-nor-non-perception, enters and dwells in the cessation of perception and feeling (saññāvedayitanirodha). And having seen with wisdom, his taints (āsava) are utterly destroyed. This bhikkhu, bhikkhus, does not conceive anything, does not conceive anywhere, does not conceive by means of anything.
Thus spoke the Blessed One. Delighted, those bhikkhus rejoiced in the Blessed One's words.
The Sappurisa Sutta, the third, is finished.
