Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 198

[198] Thus have I heard. At one time the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. There the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus: "Bhikkhus!" "Venerable sir," those bhikkhus replied to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said this: "Bhikkhus, I will teach you a discourse on the Dhamma concerning what should be cultivated and what should not be cultivated. Listen to it and attend well; I will speak." "Yes, venerable sir," those bhikkhus replied to the Blessed One.
